Tulane Athletics Extends Radio Partnership with Cumulus Media
Green Wave Football and Men’s Basketball Moving to 106.7 The Ticket – KKND FM
NEW ORLEANS, La. (June 26, 2025) – Tulane University Athletics and its exclusive multimedia rights holder, Tulane Sports Properties, have signed a multi-year extension with Cumulus Media New Orleans to continue as the flagship radio broadcast rights holder.
As a result of the partnership extension, Tulane Football and Men’s Basketball games will be broadcast on 106.7 The Ticket – KKND FM, providing full coverage to Green Wave fans throughout the New Orleans region.
“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Cumulus Media New Orleans,” Ben Weiner Director of Athletics Chair David Harris said. “Our fans always show great passion following Tulane over the airwaves and this relationship enhances their ability to do just that. We can’t wait to get the seasons started.”
Cumulus Media and Tulane Athletics began working together amid last year’s football season and are excited to expand their partnership to the entirety of the upcoming football and men’s basketball seasons.
“The entire team at The Ticket is ecstatic to continue our partnership with Tulane University,” said Pat Galloway, Regional Vice President and Market Manager for Cumulus Media. “106.7 The Ticket is the Home of the Green Wave and we look forward to many, many more great years together!”
In addition to Tulane football and men’s basketball broadcasts, fans can also hear ‘The Current’, the official podcast of Tulane Athletics, on 106.7 The Ticket throughout the Green Wave athletics season. Hosted by Corey Gloor, the Director of Broadcasting of the Tulane Sports Network from Learfield, ‘The Current’ brings fans unprecedented access to Tulane athletics, featuring interviews and conversation with student-athletes, coaches and more.
“Since joining forces last year, Cumulus New Orleans has been everything you can hope for in a media partner, and I cannot wait to begin our next chapter,” said Gloor. “As the sole sports radio station in New Orleans, 106.7 The Ticket is the perfect home for Tulane fans and New Orleanians to catch every moment from the gridiron and the hardwood. Additionally, bringing ‘The Current’ to the airwaves will give our fans more access to Tulane athletics than ever before. Fresh on the heels of Green Wave football’s third-straight conference championship game appearance and men’s basketball’s first postseason trip in twelve years, this is a special time at Tulane, and I’m thrilled to bring the greatest city in the world all the action on 106.7 The Ticket for years to come.”
Tulane’s radio broadcast rights are managed by Tulane Sports Properties, the locally based team of Learfield – the media and technology company powering college athletics.
