The 32nd year of Ken Trahan’s Original Prep Football Report kicks off with the first week of the regular season Friday, Sept. 4.
The show returns with six hours of the most comprehensive coverage of prep football each Friday night on flagship station 106.7 The Ticket in New Orleans.
The show will also air on several affiliates around Louisiana, in partnership with the Louisiana Radio Network.
“We are thrilled to be able to continue providing the most extensive coverage of prep football statewide,” Trahan said. “Our partnerships with the Crescent City Sportsm, the Louisiana Radio Network and WNOL and WGNO help us to give the many fans of prep football the very best coverage possible.”
The scoreboard for the show is provided by Crescent City Sports, where scores will be updated all evening long.
Countdown to the Original airs from 6-7 p.m. each Friday with Les East and Jude Young live from Francesca by Katie’s Restaurant, 515 Harrison Ave. in Lakeview with a specific school night each Friday during the regular season.
Ro Brown joins Trahan in studio for The Original from 7-11 p.m. with reports from 50 games around the state weekly, frequent scoreboard updates, and interviews with winning coaches.
From 10-11 p.m., analysts from every major market in the state will review the night’s top action and performances.
From 11 p.m.-midnight, Friday Night Football from WNOL and WGNO will air locally on 106.7 The Ticket.
From 6 p.m.-11 p.m., network affiliates will carry part of all of the show weekly through the state championship games Dec. 11-12 in Caesars Superdome.
